STAGE THEATRE SOCIETY PRESENT BILLY ELLIOT

This modern-day fairy tale is the heart-warming story of a young boy

dance.

Set against the background of the British miners' strike of 1984-85, ‘Billy Elliot’ charts the fortunes of the striking men alongside Billy's personal struggle to become a dancer in a world of hard hats
and boxing gloves.

Music by Elton John, written by Lee Hall, this is a ‘musical must-see!’
'This is a story about the transforming power of art, about daring to express yourself, and about nurturing talent.'
