TONY HART RETROSPECTIVE

This exhibition celebrates the work of the late Tony Hart. Born in Maidstone in 1925, the artist attended Maidstone College of Art (now University for the Creative Arts).

The artist’s daughter, Carolyn Williams, has selected paintings and illustrations that will feature alongside the Tony Hart Tribute artwork by Holly Gerrard, pupil at Invicta Girls’ Grammar School.

MANGA - SWEATSHOP ARTISTS

This is a rare chance to see Sweatshop Studios work in exhibition. Led by Emma Vieceli (winner of Tokyopop's first UK and Ireland Rising Stars of Manga competition), the ‘Sweatdrop Artists’ will be showing their anime storyboards, alongside the Manga style artworks created by young people at the Rewind youth art workshops being held at the Hazlitt Art Centre during the Easter school holidays.

The Graham Clarke Gallery is an intimate town gallery for local artists to exhibit and create work. The cafe and regular daytime events add to the atmosphere of a relaxed environment to exhibit and view local talent. The gallery is accessible six days a week Monday – Saturday from 10am – 6pm.
