their confidence and have some fun? Playlitts has it all! In a one hour
session, children will play games, listen to stories, learn basic acting
skills and still have time for a craft activity to take home!

HAZLITT YOUTH THEATRE ‘A PLAY IN A WEEK’ TREASURE ISLAND

The Hazlitt's popular 'Play in a Week' workshops return for the Spring half term 2010. It is available to all children aged between 6 and 11 years.

Join Jim Hawkins, Long John Silver and the dastardly crew of The Hispaniola on a jolly, salt - encrusted, swashbuckling adventure as they search the high seas for the hidden treasure of Billy Bones.

Along the way they will battle with pirates, fend off a phantom crew and enrol the help of a bevy of island beauties.

MANGA SWEATSHOP ARTISTS

This is a rare chance to see Sweatshop Studios work in exhibition. Led by Emma Vieceli (winner of Tokyopop's first UK and Ireland Rising Stars of Manga competition), the ‘Sweatdrop Artists’ will be showing their anime storyboards, alongside the Manga style artworks created by young people at the Rewind youth art workshops being held at the Hazlitt Art Centre during the Easter school holidays.
