The HAC Writers’ Group is proud to announce the addition of Canterbury based author Danny Rhodes to the group. His first novel Asboville, published by Maia Press in October 2006 was selected by Waterstone’s Booksellers as their paperback of the year. This success was shortly followed in 2009 by his critically acclaimed second novel ‘Soldier Boy’. Danny is currently working on his third book. www.dannyrhodes.net

Over 70 people have joined so far… make sure you don’t miss out!

It doesn’t matter what level you are… an absolute beginner or an experienced singer, Eric Lund, our very own musical director, will loosen those vocal chords and ease you into singing your heart out.

Singing is fun, a great way to meet other people, learn a new skill and it’s stress busting at the same time!

We meet from 7pm-9pm most Wednesdays.

Ever fancied being the star of your very own film? Want to learn what it takes to produce a film?

Then this is your chance. Take part in ‘A Film in a Week’ workshop and you will have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of film production; from acting to sound operating, camera work to directing, special effects and much much more. At the end of the week you will attend the premiere of your very own film and get to watch yourself on the big screen.

CEROC Pure Dance Addiction

CEROC is the largest dance organisation in the UK. The fusion of Jive and Salsa is easy to learn and can be danced to any type of music, by anyone from 18 to 80.

There is no need to come with a partner – as everyone changes partners. So come and join the scores of new people that are learning to partner dance every Thursday at the Hazlitt Arts Centre.

No special clothes or shoes are needed, just wear casual clothes. No need to book, just turn up. Come on your own or with friends. Licensed bar and GREAT music.
